Christmas Choir Tour

Overview

Every Advent our choir and chamber orchestra take the Christmas story on the road: nursing homes on weeknights, the town square on Saturdays, shelter dinners between — closing with two candlelight concerts in the restored sanctuary.

The challenge

December calendars are brutal and venues vary wildly — from silent hospital wards to windy plazas. The program had to flex from twelve singers to sixty without losing its heart.

Our approach

• A modular program: full choir, chamber ensemble, or carol quartet.
• Half the concerts free, half raising funds for the winter shelter.
• Every venue gets a sing-along set — the audience becomes the choir.
• The live album funds next year's tour; hear it in our bookstore.
